On Saturday 2 May, from 8.30 to 10am, Radio 24 Friends and Enemies returns with Marianna Aprile and Daniele Bellasio.
The guests of the episode will be: Lorenzo Bini Smaghi (economist, President of the French bank Societé General, former member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank), Emma Bonino (historic exponent of the Radical Party, former European Commissioner, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice-President of the Senate), Adolfo Ceretti (criminologist, profe

After the usual opening editorials, from 8.45 a.m. the programme will be hosted by Lorenzo Bini Smaghi. With him, the presenters will discuss the Italian and international economy, with particular reference to the future of Europe, starting from Bini Smaghi's recent book "Da soli. Gli europei alla prova di Trump nelle sfide dell'economia globale" (Rizzoli, 2026).
Then, from around 9.05 a.m., Aprile and Bellasio will talk about the political legacy of the founder of the Radical Party Marco Pannella, who died exactly ten years ago and was born on 2 May 1930. The presenters will discuss the subject with Simone Spetia (who together with Daniele Bellasio produced the Sole 24 Ore podcast 'Marco. Do you know who Pannella was?", released this week) and with Emma Bonino. The memory of Pannella will also be joined by Vasco Rossi with an audio contribution.
