On Saturday 29 June, from 8.30 to 10am, Radio 24's 'Friends and foes - the week's news' returns.
Hosted by Sole 24 Ore deputy editor Daniele Bellasio and Giovanna Zucconi, journalist, author and presenter for radio and TV, the episode will open with a commentary on the day's news and an interview with Maurizio Martina, current Deputy Director General of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organisation), with whom they will discuss the workings of the agricultural supply chain and exploitation in the fields in the light of the death of labourer Satnam Singh in Latina.
Shortly after 9 a.m. it will be time for international politics with Gianni Riotta , journalist, writer, Director Luiss Datalab and lecturer at Princeton University. In particular, we will talk about the United States after the debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump broadcast by CNN.
