From the CIPESS green light for 1.42 billion for the Turin-Lyon, in service in 2033

The go-ahead has been given by the CIPESS for EUR 1.42 billion, including approximately EUR 428 million in European funds, for the continuation of work on the cross-border section of the new Turin-Lyon section, a railway tunnel of which 47 km of the total 163 km have already been excavated. The Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development has also authorised the re-aggregation of the construction lots of the work and the new spending limit of around EUR 14.7 billion, and approved the new timetable, which envisages the commercial commissioning of the line by 31 December 2033.

In the area of compensatory works, the use of savings was authorised to complete the financing of additional works for the 'Teatro Civico di Susa', which is increased to approximately EUR 4 million.
