Eni caps electricity and gas bills, offering a 30 per cent discount for two years compared with the standard tariff
It should be noted that this discount ‘amounts to around 100 euros a year on the gas bill and the same for the electricity bill, making a total of around 200 euros’.
Eni, following the cap on diesel and petrol prices, “is offering further support to Italian households as part of the ‘Eni for Italia’ initiative, aimed at helping citizens cope with high energy prices”.
This is stated in a press release from the Six-Legged Dog, which announces that, from 1 October, the group will offer customers who sign up to the offer by 24 October via Plenitude, a 30 per cent discount on electricity and gas charges compared to the main fixed-price tariff, with the price locked in for two years.
It should be noted that this discount ‘amounts to around 100 euros a year on the gas contract and the same for the electricity contract, making a total of around 200 euros’.
According to information obtained by Adnkronos, existing customers will also be able to sign up to Eni Plenitude’s offer (known as ‘Fixa Time 24 Smart’) by switching products. There are currently around 11 million Plenitude customers worldwide, of whom 9 million are in Italia, according to information published on the company’s website.
