Key points
Poste Italiane's SuperApp, the one that integrated the previous three, is not yet a year old, but already has 4.2 million daily users. Almost half a million more than the year before, when there were three applications (one for banking, one for payments and one for everything else). The numbers now put Poste in the lead in terms of number of daily users, doubling its second place.
16 million users
Not surprisingly, during the presentation of the 2025 accounts, it was said that the migration of customers was completed. Overall, the community consists of 16 million people who have downloaded. These are those who have downloaded. The age distribution is heterogeneous: about 2 million are over 66 years old, with the family of over-80s reaching 300,000. The same number of minors.
The use of artificial intelligence
Linked to this is the use of artificial intelligence. In order to enable everyone to use the app, the algorithms 'study' the customer and offer a tailor-made system. An example: if the customer is young, the purchase of a product will be recommended directly online.
Services offered thanks to 2500 employees
Ecommerce, in fact, is part of the various services present. From the app it is possible to track the journey of an ordered product, but it is also possible to access energy, gas or fibre. A complex structure, which relies on around 2,500 technology experts employed by Poste.
Coming Soon
And that will expand further. By 2026, in fact, an English version of the app will arrive but, above all, the possibility of seeing everything you subscribe to. A service that will function as a dashboard, from which you can see your card's connections to platforms such as Netflix or Dazn. As well as being convenient for users, the intervention will also have an impact on security, giving the possibility to notice unwanted subscriptions.
