"Dolce&Gabbana's 'From Heart to Hands' lands in Rome in May

After the stops in Milano and Paris, the exhibition "Dal Cuore Alle Mani" (From the Heart to the Hands), with which Dolce&Gabbana" exalts the know-how of fine Italian craftsmanship, will arrive in Rome on 14 May. The exhibition will be staged at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, an 1883 building designed by Pio Piacentini, the largest exhibition and cultural space in the centre of the capital.

For the occasion, the exhibition will not simply be rearranged, but will be organised according to a narrative rethought for the context, where Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's creations enter into dialogue with the building's neoclassical architectural layout.

The exhibition, promoted by the Assessorato alla Cultura di Roma Capitale and Azienda Speciale Palaexpo, under the patronage of Roma Capitale, produced and organised by Azienda Speciale Palaexpo with IMG and curated by Florence Müller with set design by Agence Galuchat, brings together more than two hundred unique creations by Dolce&Gabbana, a symbol of Italian haute couture style.

The exhibition also includes the work of selected visual artists in dialogue with Dolce&Gabbana's creativity. The exhibition itinerary unfolds in a succession of large immersive rooms covering an area of approximately 1,500 square metres, in which the creations are narrated through a series of themes that highlight the many Italian cultural influences at the roots of Dolce&Gabbana: from art to architecture, from excellent craftsmanship to folklore, from music to opera, ballet, theatre and, of course, the suggestions of the "dolce vita".

The exhibition will remain open until 13 August.
