More difficult days ahead for those travelling by train due to a new strike called by the autonomous trade unions starting on Saturday 23rd at 9 p.m. and until the same time on Sunday.
The decision, communicated by Fs, is confirmed by the trade union Usb and will involve 'all personnel of the group companies and other companies operating in the railway sector on the national territory', explains a note from the trade union.
It is still uncertain what the impact will be and which routes will be affected.
Last5 November, the strike proclaimed by all the unions after the stabbing of a train conductor had been widely supported with great inconvenience for travellers.
On 8 November then the local trains (along with trams, buses and metros) had stopped for the unitary strike of public transport. The agitation on Saturday and Sunday 'is part of the dispute for the national contract renewal of the railway activities, carried out by a broad front of grassroots unions', explains the Usb. The union points the finger at the employers' associations 'who know nothing else but to ask the guarantee commission for help to try to stop the wave of large adhesion to the last strikes'.
