The Israeli army confirmed the death of three Hamas militants hiding in a tunnel in Rafah, southern Gaza. According to the Times of Israel newspaper, dozens of Hamas militants have reportedly remained underground in the eastern area of Rafah, on the Israeli side of the ceasefire line, since October. The IDF has reportedly killed or captured more than 50 of them in recent months.
