Fabio Tamburini confirmed as Head of Editorial at the Il Sole 24 ORE Group
The Board of Directors of Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A., meeting today in Milan under the chairmanship of Maria Carmela Colaiacovo, unanimously resolved to appoint Giuseppe De Bellis, with effect from 7 December 2026, as Editor-in-Chief of *Il Sole 24 Ore*, *Radio 24*, *Radiocor* and all other publications of the *Il Sole 24 ORE* Group. The Board of Directors also resolved, again unanimously, to confirm Fabio Tamburini in the role of Editorial Director of the Il Sole 24 ORE Group.
The Board of Directors of Il Sole 24 ORE S.p.A. wishes to thank Fabio Tamburini for the extraordinary commitment he has shown to the Il Sole 24 Ore Group since his return to the company in 2018, making a decisive contribution to the company’s revival through the work he has carried out over all these years as Editor-in-Chief of all the Group’s publications. The many achievements, including the consolidation of the authority of the news published by Il Sole 24 Ore, his contribution to the launch of successful new initiatives such as the Trento Festival of Economics, and the milestone marking the Group’s 160th anniversary, bear witness to Editor-in-Chief Tamburini’s active and decisive contribution, in keeping with the Group’s editorial and corporate values.
Giuseppe De Bellis, aged 48, is a professional journalist with extensive experience as an editor-in-chief, gained across all media: print and digital newspapers, magazines, television, and the latest multimedia platforms. Throughout his career, he has combined his journalistic experience with increasing responsibility for leading editorial teams, products and complex publishing organisations, building a profile that combines editorial vision, innovation and managerial skills.
In July 2025, he took up the post of Executive Vice President of News, Sport & Entertainment at Sky Italia and Editorial Director of Sky TG24, overseeing Sky Italia’s entire content offering, from news and entertainment to the Sky-branded channels, TV8 and Cielo, as well as their associated digital platforms, with the integration of the group’s various editorial, production and creative divisions at the heart of his remit.
He has been at the helm of Sky TG24 since 2019; under his leadership, the organisation has accelerated its transformation from an all-news channel into a multi-platform news service, integrating television, the web, apps, social media and events.
