Golden Goose announces positive Q1 2025 results and continues on the growth path recorded in 2024. Net revenues came in at 164.5 million, up 12% compared to Q1 2024; Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) net revenues were up 19% compared to Q1 2024, representing 76% of total net revenues (were 71% in Q1 2024), in line with Golden Goose's direct channel expansion strategy, with increases of 30% in EMEA, 13% in the Americas and 9% in APAC, with the region returning to growth after months of slowdown.
The retail network
.The global direct shop network (DOS) reached 218 shops at the end of the quarter, with 3 new openings. New stores included either the opening of the Pop-Up at The Corner Shop in Selfridges, focused on Co-Creation and Shared Experiences; a new Pop-Up in Manila, with the Golden Fioreria concept; and the launch of the new experiential concept store in New York - Meatpacking District.
Marketing and communication initiatives for the quarter
.Golden Goose has also strengthened its positioning with new initiatives to consolidate ties with the community. The official press release mentioned in particular the addition of tennis players Jasmine Paolini and Zizou Bergs, and padel icons Marta Ortega and Juan Lebrón as Global Brand Ambassadors; the celebration of the iconic Super-Star trainer with a campaign starring Jane Fonda, award-winning actress, activist and cultural icon; and the launch of two limited editions of the Super-Star signed by Global Brand Ambassador Jackson Yee, dedicated to the APAC market. It is also worth mentioning that at the end of January, Blue Pool Capital, a Hong Kong-based family office and investment company, acquired a strategic minority stake in the group.
The CEO's comment
.Silvio Campara, CEO of the Golden Goose group, was optimistic, as he had been during his participation in the Luxury Summit of Il Sole 24 Ore on 7 May (see also Moda 24 of 9 May): "We are very proud of the results achieved in the first quarter of 2025, which confirm double-digit growth driven once again by the exceptional performance of the Direct-to-Consumer channel, explained Campara. While we are aware of the strength of our brand, we remain attentive to the evolving geopolitical and economic global scenario. We are grateful and inspired by the continued support of our Golden family and community."
