Gotha Cosmetics won the 2025 MakeUp in Paris IT Award in the new Ocean Beauty category, which rewards innovations developed using ingredients or materials of marine origin.
In this cross category, the product Waterburst Dazzle Top Coat won the competition.
This all-over stick for eyes, lips and cheeks contains more than 70 per cent water, has a creamy texture and gives a shimmering wet-look finish. The gel formula is enriched with pearl pigments and a skin-friendly sugar complex that binds with keratin, smoothing and revitalising the skin.
The mix of gelatinising agents is based on natural polysaccharides extracted from red algae (Chondrus crispus), known for their ability to form elastic, uniform gels.
This water-based gel formula, the first of its kind, marks a new chapter in the innovation of hybrid beauty. Its creation responds to the growing demand for playful, sensorial and multi-purpose coloured cosmetics. Designed for maximum versatility, this all-over stick is extremely easy to apply.
