A project that interweaves lifestyle, real estate development and Made in Italy to build a collection of hotels in the main districts of high-end tourism. This is how Le Graal, a new brand founded by Fabrizio Di Amato, chairman and major shareholder of the listed Maire, makes its debut on the Italian luxury hotel scene.
The objective is to create a hotel platform through the recovery and repositioning of historic and valuable properties. The project is shared with entrepreneur Giuseppe Ambrosi and envisages, starting this year, the opening of three destinations: a luxury hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo, which will open in the summer in the former hotel Italia, a private urban club in Rome, the first in the city, with 11 rooms and suites, and finally a Relais & Spa on Lake Garda. But the pipeline does not end there.
In Cortina, architect Achille Salvagni has redesigned an elegant 1920s building. The structure will have 30 rooms and suites, a spa and restaurant. In Rome, the brand will invest in Palazzo Medici Clarelli, in Via Giulia, transforming it into the capital's first new-generation Private Club. Finally, on Lake Garda, Le Graal is working to enhance a Palladian Villa, destined to become a year-round lifestyle destination, with a strong focus on wellness and haute cuisine.
Le Graal declines hospitality with a focus on sustainability: all structures are designed to achieve Leed Gold certification, integrating energy efficiency and land conservation.
The operational management is entrusted to Claudio Ceccherelli, known as one of the most experienced managers in the international luxury hôtellerie, with a past at Hyatt, Villa d'Este, and in the creation of iconic hotel collections. "Our development strategy does not stop with Cortina, Rome, and Lake Garda: the desire is to expand the Le Graal collection with new structures in the most exclusive locations in Italia," says Ceccherelli. "We are looking at Tuscany, Apulia, Sicily, and other places where authenticity, beauty, and the value of the territory can be told and shared.
