Grace to Nicole Minetti. Quirinal sources: for serious health condition of a minor
The former Lombardy regional councillor had been definitively sentenced to 1 year and 1 month for embezzlement and 2 years and 10 months for inducing prostitution in the Ruby trial.
Key points
With reference to the issue of the pardon granted to Nicòle Minetti, Quirinal sources state that: "The granting of the act of clemency - in favour of which the competent Attorney General of the Court of Appeal expressed himself in a wide-ranging opinion - was also based on the serious health conditions of a close minor family member of Minetti who requires special assistance and care, at highly specialised hospitals. The legislation protecting the sensitive data of minors does not allow details of the minor's health conditions to be disclosed'.
