Graziano Mesina has been released from prison. In fact, the request for a deferment of sentence for health reasons presented yesterday to the Milan surveillance court by Graziano Mesina's lawyers, Beatrice Goddi and Maria Luisa Vernier, was granted. This was announced by one of the two lawyers: 'He is now in detention at the Pp San Paolo ward in Milan. The former red primula of Sardinian banditry had been detained for two years in the Opera prison but had been ill for some time. Yesterday, the two lawyers had let it be known that 'he has been diagnosed with an oncological disease that has now spread, incurable, and in a terminal phase'.
