The Chamber of Deputies has definitively approved, in its third overall reading, the Sports Bill with 153 in favour and 85 against (6 abstained). The measure with the 'Urgent provisions for the organisation and holding of major sporting events, as well as further urgent provisions on sport', returned to the House after the article on the competences of Sport and Health, the public spa controlled by the Ministry of the Economy, on all sporting events financed for more than 5 million, was deleted in the Senate. The decree concerns, in particular, the organisation of a series of major sporting events, from the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics to the America's Cup and the Mediterranean Games.

The Culture Committee of Palazzo Madama also approved the 'expulsion' of two paragraphs of Article 11 (relating to the staff of the Independent Commission for Verifying the Economic Balance of Sports Clubs and the jurisdiction of the ordinary judge).
