Heat pumps: the Conto termico starts again on Monday

TheConto termico 3.0 will start up againon Monday 13 April. The subsidy dedicated to, among others, heat pumps, hybrid systems, and solar thermal systems will start up again just over a month after the stop that had halted it at the beginning of March. This was made official by the Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) in a note on its website.

"The portal for the submission of applications for the Conto termico 3.0," it says, "will reopen on 13 April 2026 at 12:00 noon for the submission of applications - exclusively in direct access - for individuals, businesses, Third Sector entities and public administrations. All entities to which the Conto termico for energy efficiency is dedicated will therefore be able to apply for contributions.

"For businesses," the note recalls, "the special function for submitting the application for the preliminary assessment of businesses remains available within the portal. With the reopening of the portal, then, "there will also be an extension of the deadline for submitting applications whose due date fell during the suspension period".

Further information will be communicated over the next few days also through specific Faqs by the Gse. Finally, on 15 April, the catalogue of pre-qualified appliances will be published in the dedicated section.
