H&M and Elie Saab: fast fashion meets high fashion
From 22 October, the Swedish chain’s shops will stock a women’s and men’s collection created by the designer renowned for his craftsmanship and tailoring
H&M has unveiled its next collaboration, which is with one of the most prestigious names in international fashion: Elie Saab, now one of the world’s leading haute couture houses and named after its founder. Born in Beirut, the designer rose to prominence thanks to his exquisite wedding dress designs. He subsequently became one of the first international members of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, the French fashion chamber. His designs have graced international red carpets and reflect a vision of fashion rooted in craftsmanship, sophistication, glamour and contemporary luxury. Today, the brand’s portfolio spans from haute couture to ready-to-wear, right through to accessories.
The spirit of partnership
The Elie Saab H&M collection interprets the brand’s contemporary vision and its distinctive stylistic codes. It includes womens’ and mens’ clothing, as well as a selection of accessories and footwear. Key pieces include dresses embellished with embroidery and decorative details, sparkling ensembles and impeccably tailored garments. The ELIE SAAB H&M collection will be available from 22 October in selected H&M stores and on hm.com.
