The Quirinale's scrutiny of incoming decrees: from the housing plan to justice

At the Quirinale the word 'clash' or 'tug-of-war' does not enter, but on the question of decree-laws they are quite clear. And they make it known that for Sergio Mattarella 'there is dutifully constant attention to the actual reasons of urgency that underlie the decrees'.

It should be noted that the emphasis is on the adverb 'dutifully' because the Colle's scrutiny is first and foremost on the necessity and urgency of the measure, which - at the moment - does not appear to be a requirement of all those 6-8 measures on the waiting list for the presidential green light.
