After the summer break, the social card 'Dedicata a te' (Dedicated to you) is on its way, loaded with 500 euro for the purchase of essential foodstuffs. Beneficiaries of the support also for the 2025 edition are family nuclei made up of at least three people, resident in Italy, with a valid Isee certification not exceeding 15 thousand euro.
The inter-ministerial decree releasing the 500 million euro fund that the Budget Law 2025 allocated to the 'card dedicated to you', after being signed by the competent ministers, is being examined by the Court of Auditors, to be then published in the Official Gazette: there are 1,157,179 households potentially benefiting from the social card.
Beneficiaries and those excluded from support
The beneficiaries of the measure, who do not have to submit an application, are identified among the citizens belonging to family units (composed of at least three persons), resident in the Italian territory, in possession of the following requirements at the date of publication of the decree: registration in the Register of the Resident Population (Anagrafe della Popolazione Residente - Municipal Register); ownership of a valid ordinary Isee certification, with an indicator not exceeding 15,000 euro.
The EUR 500 one-off contribution is only for the purchase of essential foodstuffs (excluding any alcoholic beverages), unlike in 2024, fuel will most likely be excluded.
The contribution is not due to households which, at the date of entry into force of the decree, include recipients of the 'Assegno di inclusione' (Inclusion Allowance), the 'Carta acquisti' (shopping card), any other social inclusion measure or poverty support measure that provides for the disbursement of an economic subsidy (at national, regional or municipal level). It is also not available to households in which at least one member is a recipient of the Naspi or Discoll, the Monthly Unemployment Indemnity for employees, the Mobility Indemnity, the Solidarity Fund, the Cassa Integrazione and any other form of wage supplementation or support in the case of involuntary unemployment paid by the State.
