Huxe, how the app that generates an audio summary of the day works

After NotebookLM, Google's tool based on artificial intelligence and capable of searching, analysing notes and documents, the same engineers involved in the project have created Huxe: an audio-first app that transforms personal daily information into interactive audio experiences. Neither a simple podcast nor a traditional voice assistant, it is an artificial intelligence-based system capable of transforming data, news and even personal emails into a customised audio stream to be listened to in the morning. Launched by invitation last June and now available for all iOS and Android users, this app collects the day's most relevant information and automatically generates a story managed by AI presenters.

When you first log in, the app asks you to connect your personal calendar and e-mail accounts, then shows you an editable list of topics you might be interested in, such as philosophy, technology news, cinema or personal growth, for example, and finally asks for your consent to locate and receive notifications. In addition to saying good morning, Huxe's main screen highlights the Play button, which is useful for starting the audio commentary summarising the day's engagements, the latest news and the most important e-mail messages: you can choose whether to accompany the playback by showing cards or the text transcription of what you are listening to. Furthermore, it is worth emphasising that the experience is not passive, in fact, what distinguishes this app from other similar solutions is its interactivity: while listening, you can ask questions or request more in-depth information, as if there were a radio presenter ready to follow the user's interests

At the moment, the sound quality is already good, with natural voices and rhythms reminiscent of the radio, but for the more demanding there is the possibility to speed up playback or choose one or two presenters from a large list of voices, directly from the settings. Also interesting is the 'live station' function, which allows you to create a live radio station to keep up to date with the topics of interest, drawing simultaneously from several sources on the net. Still in the process of growth and refinement, Huxe could become an indispensable tool for those who are constantly on the move and do not want to give up keeping up to date by staring at the screen.
