Never have so many Lamborghinis been delivered in the first six months of a fiscal year. The brand from Sant'Agata Bolognese reaches the 2025 milestone with results that confirm its value within the Volkswagen Group. For while the German giant led by Oliver Blume navigates in troubled waters, the company founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963 and acquired by Audi in 1998 is bucking the trend with 5,681 cars delivered compared to 5,558 in the first half of 2024.

It is precisely from sales that comes the second figure that underlines Lamborghini's solidity, with a Ros (Return on sales, or profitability from sales) of 26.6%, a record percentage among all car brands in the Volkswagen galaxy. And if with luxury it is easier to have high profitability on sales, Bentley's 6.9% amplifies the Emilian manufacturer's result.

Overall, sales amounted to €1.62 billion, in line with the same period of the previous year, while the operating result reached €431 million, compared to €458 million in 2024 (-5.9%), down mainly due to the unfavourable exchange rate trend during the last quarter and the handling of tariffs on the US market.

"The results of these first six months of 2025 are solid despite the global economic and political instability and confirm that the choice to hybridise the entire range is the right one," emphasised Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. "The success of Revuelto and Urus SE proves that our vision is shared by customers and we now await the arrival on the market of Temerario, completing the segment's first fully hybrid range."

In detail, in the first six months of 2025, 4,088 Urus, up 29.7%, 577 Huracan and 1,016 Revuelto were delivered. Overall, the electrified models, Urus SE and the Revuelto hypercar, exceeded 4,300 deliveries.

In terms of distribution of deliveries in the three macro-regions, the Emea region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) confirmed its position on the top step of the podium with 2,708 vehicles, followed by the Americas with 1,732 units and Asia Pacific with 1,241 deliveries.

On the production front at the Sant'Agata Bolognese plant, there was a sharp drop of 25.4% from 6,762 cars in the first half of '24 to 5,043 in the January-June '25 period. The drop is, according to the company, linked to the 2,282 Huracans produced last year, a model that left the range to make way for the new Temerario.

The results obtained in the first half of 2025 bear witness to the effectiveness of Lamborghini's industrial strategy, a Made in Italy automotive brand, as underlined by the growth of the Sant'Agata plant, which has now grown to 3,000 employees able to build more than 10,000 cars a year.
