Ibiza, 30-year-old Italian man stabbed in Platja d'en Bossa dies
A young man from Naples was killed in a violent attack in Ibiza, while authorities rule out robbery and investigate a possible showdown
An Italian citizen of about 30 years of age was stabbed to death on the island of Ibiza. According to the Spanish media, the man was originally from Naples. The assailant is said to be on the run. At the origin of the crime perhaps a showdown: the first hypothesis of robbery has been ruled out.
The events reportedly took place around 4.30 p.m. in Platja d'en Bossa. The man, hit by at least one stab wound, was reportedly seen by witnesses holding the area between his chest and abdomen with his hand and then collapsing to the ground.

Medical personnel rushed to the scene after the victim had been shot and tried to resuscitate him but without success. The Italian consulate in Barcelona is following the case.
