With a 120,000 square metre production site in Lodi, more than 670 employees and an annual production of more than 120 million pieces, Icr Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite has been operating in the international selective perfumery sector for fifty years.

"2024 was a year of grace marked by the entry of new customers and particularly important orders related to the international repositioning of some product lines," says Roberto Martone, president of Icr. "We closed the year with a turnover of €196 million, recording 25% growth compared to 2023. 2025 will physiologically be a year of consolidation: the budget foresees a slightly lower result compared to 2024, in line with the natural cycle of adjustment after such a significant year of expansion'.

The company has embarked on a major investment plan worth over 25 million euro between 2024 and 2025, with the aim of strengthening the research, production and logistics infrastructure across the board. 'Among the most significant interventions,' Martone explains, 'is the doubling of the space dedicated to the Research & Development and Quality Control laboratories, together with the inauguration of a new microbiology laboratory. On the production front, the sixth production and maceration room for alcoholic perfumery went into operation, bringing our total capacity to 420 thousand litres of alcoholic semi-finished products. Two new fully automatic filling and packaging lines, each 44 metres long, with an additional production capacity of 20 million pieces in three shifts are being tested. A new automated warehouse of 13 thousand square metres is also being built, which will bring the total covered area to 65 thousand square metres.

Again, on the sustainability front, a second 1.6-megawatt photovoltaic plant will be added to the existing 1.9-megawatt plant, enabling a reduction of about two million kilos of CO₂ per year. Since 2024, the supply of the more than 2.3 million litres of cosmetic alcohol per year has been switched from Hungarian maize to German sugar beet: a higher quality, lower environmental impact, traceable choice.
