For the seventh year running Il Sole 24 Ore is the first newspaper in Italy for reliability, as certified by the Digital News Report 2024 conducted in 47 countries by the Reuters Institute of Oxford University. Il Sole 24 Ore confirms its primacy at the top of the daily newspaper rankings and the podium of the overall ranking of all media, after Ansa and Sky Tg 24.
Italy's leading business/financial daily newspaper recorded 67% in the 'brand trust rating', a clearly higher performance than the other major international newspapers, both in the US and the UK and among the major European countries, especially Germany, France and Spain.
Rewarded, therefore, once again is the information quality of Il Sole 24 Ore, which, since - in 2018 - the Reuters Institute began measuring readers' trust in digital information titles, has always been in the top three positions in the media world and first overall among daily newspapers.
A quality that has also brought with it a number of awards: among the latest, the Diversity Media Award 2024 just won for the best article in Print Newspapers; the Journalism AI fellowship, promoted by the London School of Economics, obtained by the online section of data-visual Lab24; participation - together with 9 other European media - in PULSE, a project funded by the European Commission - DG Connect, which focuses on collaboration between newsrooms in different countries to provide quality information on European affairs.
A supremacy that is also reflected in the uncontested leadership of Il Sole 24 Ore on Linkedin, the social media site aimed at the professional community, where it reaches over 1.3 million followers (March 2024), and in the podcast ratings of the main platforms with 'Start' and 'Market Mover', the daily news podcasts edited by the editorial staff.
