For the seventh year running Il Sole 24 Ore is the first newspaper in Italy for reliability, as certified by the Digital News Report 2024 conducted in 47 countries by the Reuters Institute of Oxford University. Il Sole 24 Ore confirms its primacy at the top of the daily newspaper rankings and the podium of the overall ranking of all media, after Ansa and Sky Tg 24.

Italy's leading business/financial daily newspaper recorded 67% in the 'brand trust rating', a clearly higher performance than the other major international newspapers, both in the US and the UK and among the major European countries, especially Germany, France and Spain.

Rewarded, therefore, once again is the information quality of Il Sole 24 Ore, which, since - in 2018 - the Reuters Institute began measuring readers' trust in digital information titles, has always been in the top three positions in the media world and first overall among daily newspapers.

A quality that has also brought with it a number of awards: among the latest, the Diversity Media Award 2024 just won for the best article in Print Newspapers; the Journalism AI fellowship, promoted by the London School of Economics, obtained by the online section of data-visual Lab24; participation - together with 9 other European media - in PULSE, a project funded by the European Commission - DG Connect, which focuses on collaboration between newsrooms in different countries to provide quality information on European affairs.

A supremacy that is also reflected in the uncontested leadership of Il Sole 24 Ore on Linkedin, the social media site aimed at the professional community, where it reaches over 1.3 million followers (March 2024), and in the podcast ratings of the main platforms with 'Start' and 'Market Mover', the daily news podcasts edited by the editorial staff.

That of reliable, verified, competent, serious, independent and transparent information is a daily commitment that the editorial staff of Il Sole 24 Ore undertakes every day and with a renewed sense of responsibility in a historical moment such as the present, increasingly marked by the phenomenon of fake news, which risks increasing with the advent of an unethical use of AI. It is also for this reason that the 24 ORE Group has endowed itself with a self-discipline code for the responsible use of AI and has expanded its information offerings in this area not only in the pages of the newspaper and the website, but also through the new prestigious collaboration with Father Paolo Benanti, President of the Ai Commission for Information, and with the new newsletter "Il Segnale", which reports the latest news on artificial intelligence and its applications, from numbers to job and study opportunities to new developments for companies.

A cosa serve l’educazione finanziaria

This is a commitment that Il Sole 24 Ore places on all the fronts and topics it covers, with a particular focus on the world of sustainability, which makes use of a rich and comprehensive information platform ranging from the online channel Sustainability to Lab24's infographics on climate, from the ESG Observatory to the new Energy Transition Observatory, to the world of Diversity & Inclusion, with the Alley Oop blog and the many dedicated print and digital editorial initiatives, and the financial culture theme with the Financial Education Manifesto and the Young Finance multimedia project.
