IlSole24OreTV is now available on channel 63 of digital terrestrial television
The Group’s growth trajectory in the audiovisual sector is gaining momentum. One year on from its launch, the channel has a new channel number, ‘Connected TV’, original productions and a debut on social media; the Il Sole 24 ORE Group thus consolidates its position as the only Italian publishing group with an integrated and coherent multimedia platform
IlSole24OreTV, the television channel that brings the authority, news and in-depth analysis of the Il Sole 24 ORE Group to the screen, is celebrating its first anniversary with a new strategic milestone: from 24 June 2026, it will be available on channel 63 of digital terrestrial television. This move strengthens the channel’s accessibility, recognisability and central role within the national television landscape, confirming the Group’s strategy of firmly and consistently shaping the evolution of the Italian audiovisual landscape.
This new positioning, made possible by the agreement with GMH SpA of the Sciscione Group, sees IlSole24OreTV move into a two-digit channel number, placing it amongst the leading national thematic channels. This is a crucial step forward for the broadcaster’s growth, expanding its ability to reach audiences and enhancing the editorial offering of the Il Sole 24 ORE Group in an increasingly integrated landscape encompassing linear television, digital and connected platforms.
With Channel 63, IlSole24OreTV consolidates its position as a leading source of high-quality news and in-depth analysis, providing more immediate access to editorial content based on authority, credibility and innovation in television formats. This new positioning strengthens the Group’s news ecosystem, which integrates newspapers, magazines, digital platforms, specialist content for professionals, a press agency, radio, events and television into a comprehensive, distinctive multimedia platform that is increasingly close to its audience.
In its first year of operation, the channel gradually expanded its reach beyond linear television, developing an integrated distribution strategy across digital terrestrial, streaming, FAST and OEM platforms. This strategy enables IlSole24OreTV to cover the entire viewing ecosystem and allows 24 ORE System, the Group’s advertising agency, to expand its advertising offering from linear TV to the CTV market, enabling cross-platform coverage across television and digital environments. The channel has thus established itself as the Il Sole 24 ORE Group’s flagship presence in the next-generation television ecosystem, thanks to synergies with its own publishing brands and with qualified partners, streaming on Radio 24-4.0 and on ilsole24ore.com, and agreements with operators such as LG Channels, Plex, Rakuten, Samsung TV Plus, TCL and Titan.
