Let's talk about GENERATIVE AI and its applications.
From the experience of an Innovation Hub focused on Deep-Tech like Almacube, what is the greatest potential according to your observatory and for which sectors in Italy?
It is undeniable that the potential of generative AI in Italy (as in the rest of the world) is significant and is having a strong impact in various sectors, including some that see us or have seen us engaged in the recent past such as Creative and Cultural Industries, manufacturing and Industry 4.0.
As far as we are concerned, Almacube's Open Innovation team is testing generative AI within creative processes to support companies and start-ups in developing innovative solutions. I am thinking of the application of artificial intelligence for market research, brainstorming and prototyping of new products and/or services, up to naming and branding processes.
The impact of AI on marketing is already widely recognised, and I see potential in areas such as healthcare (e.g. analysis of complex data, design of new drugs, personalised therapeutic solutions) and education (personalisation of adaptive educational content).
