In line with the internationalisation strategy envisaged in its development plan - which envisages not only a growth abroad of the events organised, but also an increasing ability to attract major international events to the Milanese district - Fiera Milano brings home a significant result, winning the hosting of CES Unveiled, the European leg of the 'Road to CES', the event promoting the world's leading trade fair for technological innovation, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), held in Las Vegas.
The Italian leg (CES Unveiled Milan) will be held on 21 October at the Allianz MiCo - Milano Convention Centre, one of Europe's leading convention centres in terms of capacity, flexibility and infrastructure facilities.
Organised by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), CES Unveiled Milan brings together innovators, start-ups, large companies, investors, media and decision-makers, providing a high-profile platform to showcase cutting-edge technologies and foster international connections ahead of CES 2027 in Las Vegas. As one of the leading global events dedicated to technological innovation, CES continues to expand its international presence, with Europe increasingly central to the sector's development. The choice of Milan reflects the city's unique position at the crossroads of design, creativity and industry, as well as its ability to attract major international events.
"The arrival of CES Unveiled in Milan is confirmation of the attractiveness of Milan, Lombardy, and the entire country in positioning itself at the centre of the great global trajectories of innovation and technology,' says Giovanni Bozzetti, president of Fondazione Fiera Milano. 'The fact that an event such as CES, after the previous European experience in Amsterdam, today chooses Milan is a concrete acknowledgement of the quality of our economic, scientific, and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Special thanks go to the President of Agenzia ICE, Matteo Zoppas, for having worked in close synergy with Fondazione Fiera Milano to bring CES to Milan and achieve this great result together"
For the CEO of Fiera Milano, Francesco Conci, "the arrival of CES Unveiled in Milan represents recognition of the international positioning of our city, thanks also to the Olympic legacy, and of its innovation ecosystem. Hosting a stage of the Road to CES means entering fully into the global geography of the great technology hubs, offering European companies, start-ups and stakeholders a privileged platform for visibility and connection".
