From 29 October to 23 November 2025, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris hosts a retrospective exhibition celebrating the richness of Francis Kurkdjian's olfactory universe through his artistic conversations.
Perfume, in its most varied and unexpected expressions, is the fil rouge of this immersive exhibition that invites visitors to enjoy surprising olfactory experiences and to rethink the role of perfume in our way of perceiving, seeing and understanding art and the world.
Retracing 30 years of the parfumeur's creations, installations and olfactory environments that have left their mark, in France and around the world, are reactivated. Through this multisensory journey, the exhibition reveals the many ways of diffusing perfume revisited or invented by Francis Kurkdjian: some poetic, such as the fountains and scented bubbles created for the Château de Versailles or the Grand Palais, traces of which remain in photographs and videos. Others surprising, such as L'Or Bleu, a perfumed drinking water developed in collaboration with the artist Yann Toma.
