The Italian debut of the musical 'Moulin Rouge' in Rome
Musical theatre by Raffaele Viviani in Naples; Kirill Petrenko with the Rai Petrenko Orchestra presents 'Lachian Dances
First time in Italy of the musical 'Moulin Rouge'. We will remember the famous film starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor; in 2018 they made the play from it, still on stage in London and on Broadway. Change of atmosphere in Naples, with the musical theatre of the great author Raffaele Viviani. And change again with symphonic music, performed by the conductor of the Berlin Philharmonic with the Rai Orchestra.

Fino al 16 novembre al Sistina Chapiteau (Viale di Tor di Quinto) il musical “Moulin Rouge”, con Diana Del Bufalo e Luca Gaudiano nei ruoli principali; una produzione del Sistina, regia di Massimo Romeo Piparo, orchestra dal vivo, dialoghi in italiano e canzoni nell’inglese originale. L’appassionata storia di Christian, giovane scrittore che si innamora della stella del Moulin Rouge, Satine, amore messo a dura prova dalla presenza del Duca, poggia su un tessuto musicale realizzato con i successi di David Bowie, Lady Gaga, i Queen, Elton John, Rihanna, Madonna e molti altri. Il musical è tratto dal film omonimo del 2001,con Nicole Kidman e Ewan McGregor, diretto da Baz Luhrmann; lo spettacolo teatrale è stato creato nel 2018, vincendo a Broadway numerosi Tony Award ed è tuttora in scena a Londra, a Broadway e in altri Paesi.

From 15 to 19 at the Trianon Theatre the new season kicks off with 'Festa di Piedigrotta', a 'popular festival in two acts' from 1919, verse, prose and music by Raffaele Viviani.
Viviani per strada' (Viviani in the street), the project on the playwright from Stabia curated by Nello Mascia, continues.
It recounts the wounded and disoriented humanity that emerges from the tragedy of a devastating war with a great urge to live. The feelings and anguish of the characters can make us reflect in a present traversed by what Pope Francis called a "world war in pieces". Produced by Trianon Viviani itself, the show features musical elaborations by Eugenio Bennato and the stage space designed by Raffaele Di Florio; directed by Nello Mascia.
