The three-day Turin event dedicated to the Aerospace and Defence sector is now in its tenth edition. The appointment with Aerospace & Defense Meetings, at the Oval Lingotto, is from 2 to 4 December. It will open on the first day with a plenary conference on wide-ranging topics related to the aerospace sector. On the second day, behind closed doors, the business convention part dedicated to Defence will begin, followed by the second business convention, on the third day, also behind closed doors, which will have a focus on the Lunar Economy Summit, completely dedicated to Space and future missions on the Earth's satellite. The Turin event maintains a strongly business and enterprise-oriented character and has twenty years of history behind it, since the appointment is biennial. With a special feature, that of hosting an event within the event, namely the Lunar Economy Summit, which, in the intentions of the organisers, is destined to become an event in its own right, as space missions linked to future developments in lunar orbit become more and more important, with the important impact of the European Artemis programme. In the 2025 edition, at which the presence of giants such as Airbus and Leonardo is confirmed, there will be an area dedicated to start-ups, which will host a moment dedicated to pitches from emerging realities in the space sector, and an exhibition part dedicated to activities and services intended for orbit and the lunar surface. In fact, the impact of future missions in orbit and on the lunar surface is set to increase, and the part related to technology and service providers will be joined by topics such as construction in space, housing in space, law in orbit, and so on. The last edition, two years ago, recorded significant numbers with over 600 participating companies from 35 countries and 9 thousand B2B meetings organised. Aerospace & Defence Meetings represents one of the main B2B meeting programmes in Europe dedicated to the aerospace sector for 2025, thanks to the participation of the sector's main international principals who will be able to meet industry suppliers and technology start-ups. The strong point of the format, organised by BCI Aerospace in collaboration with the Piedmont Region, through Ceip, the Foreign Centre for Internationalisation, and the Turin Chamber of Commerce (about seventy Piedmontese companies are already involved, ed.), are the B2B meetings, organised on the basis of a customised agenda for each company, offering concrete opportunities for comparison on projects, technologies and business opportunities. Within the business summit dedicated to the economy of the Moon, there will also be a part dedicated to the world of publishing, thanks to the presence of illustrators who will work on the theme of space exploration, and themes related to food and cultivation in orbit.
