Households benefiting from the assegno di inclusione must attend the first appointment at the social services within 120 days from the signing of the Digital Activation Pact. The Inps (message 2132 of 5 June) points out that in the first application phase of the measure, in view of the longer time required to start the first preliminary investigations, for applications submitted up to 29 February 2024, the Ministry of Labour has established that the 120-day period starts from the communication of the Institute to the social services of the beneficiary households with a successful application. The purpose of this solution is to give the same social services time to organise the new service. A beneficiary household that fails to appear at the convocation by the social services within the deadline, without a justified reason, forfeits the measure.
For applications for inclusion allowance submitted between December 2023 and January 2024 and paid from January 2024 onwards, the 120-day deadline started from 26 January 2024 (the date on which the transmission to the municipalities of accepted applications started), therefore, as from 25 May 2024, the 120 days provided for presenting oneself for the first appointment at the social services began to expire progressively. In the month following the month in which the 120 days expire (thus starting from the month of June), the first suspensions of the economic benefit are applied in the event of the household's failure to present itself by that deadline.
The Platform
.In the SIISL platform (Sistema informativo per l'inclusione sociale e lavorativa - Information system for social and labour inclusion), accessible by the beneficiaries in their reserved area, the 120-day counter can be consulted; moreover, in the service "Assegno di inclusione (ADI)", accessible through the Inps institutional portal, starting from the month following the expiry of the 120 days, the application suspension status is inserted with this reason: "Failure to submit for the first appointment at the social services within 120 days (art. 4, co 4 D.L. 48/2023 conv. in L. 85/2023)".
All beneficiary households must attend the first meeting
.In the document, Inps recalls that all households benefiting from the allowance are obliged to present themselves at the first meeting. Following the registration of the meeting by the social services, in the platforms at their disposal, the disbursement of the measure will be restored without interruption with the monthly payments already received. Moreover, even after the application of the suspension, beneficiary households may present themselves to the social services to register the first meeting. From the first useful monthly payment renewal, the disbursement of the measure will be resumed with payment also of the outstanding monthly payments.
