Industrie Cotto Possagno Spa, a Veneto and Italian excellence in the roofing bricks sector, announced that on 23 December it had signed an agreement for the integration of the company into the Edilians Group, a reference leader in southern Europe for roofing solutions. The objective is to strengthen the leadership of the Treviso-based company - 170 employees in five production plants, revenues of 44 million euro with a gross operating margin of 22% of turnover - through industrial and commercial synergies and a common vision based on innovation and sustainability.
"The integration into the Edilians Group," reads a note released by the parties, "represents a fundamental step in the development path of Industrie Cotto Possagno, which aims to consolidate its brand positioning on both the domestic and international markets. The decision to join such an important European player stems from the sharing of core values such as superior quality, technological innovation and a concrete commitment to environmental sustainability".
With the entry into an international dimension - it is specified - Industrie Cotto Possagno will nevertheless keep its roots firmly in place. In fact, the company confirms that the operation will take place under the banner of full continuity: in detail, the commercial brands and historical identity that have made the company a reference point in the sector will be preserved, manufacturing excellence and the deep bond with the Possagno area will remain the beating heart of the production activity, and the operating structure and focus on the quality of service to partners and customers will remain unchanged.
Edilians Group has a turnover of EUR 500 million, 1,700 employees and 17 plants in France, Spain Portugal.
