There are 18 students who have started the 4+2 pathway offered by the Carlo Urbani Polo Carlo Urbani (branches in Porto S. Elpidio, Sant'Elpidio a Mare and Montegiorgio and 11 addresses), which represents a model in the higher education offer in the Marche region. They will graduate in innovative management at the Technical Economic Institute, in continuity with the reference ITS pathway dedicated to web-marketing, digital strategy, e-commerce for fashion and in tune with a territory where, alongside the footwear industry, new entrepreneurial realities are advancing that are increasingly connected with new technologies and marked by modern production methods. "It is a context that requires professional figures in possession of high human, scientific and technical training," explains school head Laura D'Ignazi, "able to operate in the sector of new product research, in the design of advanced processing systems, in international marketing, and in the promotion and valorisation of typical local products abroad. In the organisation of the new course, alongside the skills of the Institute's teachers, an important role is played by the University of Camerino, a partner in the project with the involvement of the Department of Economics and Law led by Professor Elena Cedrola, thanks to a number of activities carried out already in the first week of lessons on topics such as artificial intelligence, luxury brands, fast fashion and environmental sustainability in the fashion sector. "And in the four-year period," adds the headmistress, "through the enhancement of Stem disciplines and by providing for study and work exchanges, we want to enable students to grasp the economic change and ecological transition taking place worldwide, ensuring that they can compete on an equal footing with their European counterparts.
