Inps has published the call for applications offering 477 scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year for students enrolled at university, children and orphans of civil servants and pensioners, who will be admitted to the 57 Colleges of Merit, represented by the Conference of Colleges of Merit (Ccum).
The amounts and applications
.The value of the contributions, which will allow partial or total coverage of the fees, ranges from 10,000 euro to 13,000 euro, depending on Isee. Applications can be submitted from 12 noon on 7 July 2025 to 12 noon on 30 July 2025. 'The Inps call,' reads a note, 'represents a welfare opportunity, active since 2017, that recognises the Colleges' model of excellence, capable of combining quality residency with high-level training and a strong commitment to supporting merit.
University Colleges of Merit
.The Collegi Universitari di Merito, a network of 57 facilities in 18 Italian cities, are non-profit organisations where university students, along with board and lodging, sign up for a customised training project parallel to, and in many cases supplementary to, their academic one, which includes courses, orientation activities, tutoring, coaching, international experiences, cultural, social and recreational activities designed to enable students to acquire hard and soft skills, develop their potential and prepare them for the world of work. Admission is based on merit criteria that reward scholastic and academic career, personal motivation and commitment to extracurricular training.
Opportunities for young people
.Carla Bisleri, president of the Ccum, said: "The Inps call for applications represents a valuable opportunity for hundreds of young people who, once admitted to the College, will be able to access a quality, stimulating, inclusive and future-oriented community environment. In fact, the Colleges of Merit are able to combine a high-level residential offer with customised training courses that effectively prepare students for the labour market, as demonstrated by the data on the very high post-graduate employability of our students".
