Leone in Camerun, l’appello contro i «capricci di ricchi» e il nodo della crisi anglofona

From Porto Rotondo to international markets. Sardinia, with Olbia's Cipnes, is playing the internationalisation card with boating. It is precisely in this context that the fifth edition of the Nautical Fair of Sardinia was born, presented on 13 April at the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo and opened by Angelo Colombo, Organisation Manager of the Nautical Fair of Sardinia and Vice-President of the Yacht Club Porto Rotondo.
The numbers of the event and its growing international positioning were illustrated by Livio Fideli, President of Cipnes Gallura, who highlighted how the evolution of the Fair is moving towards an increasingly broader and more qualified target. Particular attention was paid to the structure of the exhibition area, which in the 2026 edition will be divided into categories, including the institutional one designed to involve consortia and public entities. Fideli also stressed the increasingly less touristy and more industrial nature of the Show and of the entire boating industry.
Aldo Carta, Cipnes Gallura General Manager and UniOlbia President, emphasised the strategic role of the Fair, highlighting the support of the Sardinian Region and the shared mission to strengthen the nautical supply chain. The Fair was defined as an exhibition area dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of the area's industrial and production excellence, as well as young talents capable of establishing themselves at national and international level. At the same time, it is configured as a hub for in-depth analysis and discussion on the entire boating sector, thanks to the involvement of a wide institutional and entrepreneurial network. Among the topics anticipated for the scheduled talks: skills creation, professional training, internationalisation, investment attraction, innovation, and sustainability.
In his speech, Emanuele Cani, Sardinian Regional Councillor for Industry, reiterated the centrality of the nautical sector in the institutional strategies, emphasising the importance of combining industrial development and quality of hospitality, with the aim of strengthening the entire regional production system by looking to the future of the sector.
Following this, Olbia Mayor Settimo Nizzi highlighted the value of the Fair as a growth engine for the area, emphasising the importance of investing in tools and opportunities for citizens and young people, with a view to shared development.
