Internationalisation, 9 national and foreign appointments for Sardinian enterprises
Nine national and international events to promote the entry of Sardinian companies into foreign markets. The 2026 programme of the Department of Industry to promote the internationalisation of Sardinian companies starts again with nine events. Occasions to enable island companies to relaunch and promote regional production by consolidating markets that are already open and exploring new ones, in sectors ranging from agrifood to marble and stone, continuing with digital and technological innovation. Not forgetting the nautical sector, and the entire supply chain that characterises the sector.
"The activity aimed at increasing the competitiveness and presence of our companies on foreign markets is strategic for the councillorship, which in particular finances participation in national and international trade fairs in the main production sectors," emphasises Emanuele Cani, regional councillor for industry. "Making our companies known means offering them more opportunities for growth, but at the same time these events are also an opportunity to attract companies that may be interested in setting up in our region.
The first step on the road to 2026 has already begun with the London Suface Design Show that took place in early February. This is the 'main trade fair on the British market dedicated to surface materials, in which a number of Sardinian stone companies took part'. The calendar of appointments then continues with European and non-European events.
In March, from 10 to 13, participation is confirmed at Foodex Japan, the most important and historic agrifood fair in the Asia-Pacific region, held in Tokyo, in which Sardinian companies and the Region will participate.
From 7 to 10 May, the Department of Industry is supporting the fifth edition of the Nautical Fair of Sardinia, organised by Cipnes Gallura in the Marina of Porto Rotondo. A growing sector on both the national and international scene.
