Iran: Tehran warns of ‘consequences’ for countries that join US sanctions

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The Iranian Foreign Ministry has warned that there will be “consequences” for countries that join the US economic pressure campaign against the Islamic Republic.

"The necessary warnings have certainly been issued, because any complicity with America in carrying out its aggressive actions against Iran will undoubtedly have consequences", said Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai during the weekly press conference, ahead of the announcement scheduled for today in Washington of new measures to isolate the Iranian economy.
