The seventh edition of the National Bank of Agricultural Lands (Bta, established as of 2016 by Law 28 July 2016, no.154) is kicking off, offering for sale 428 lands totalling 11,416 hectares. From 31 May, it will be possible to make expressions of interest for the land, which can be viewed on the website of the Institute of Services for the Agricultural Food Market.
The Agricultural Land Bank is a tool set up by Ismea to encourage the reorganisation and relaunch of Italian agriculture, promote the creation of agricultural enterprises and enhance the value of the territory. It can be accessed free of charge by users interested in purchasing, who can view the data sheets with descriptions of the land for sale and send their expressions of interest.
"Looking to the future also means restoring value to our land," said the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, Francesco Lollobrigida. "Through the Ismea Land Bank we are returning abandoned and uncultivated plots of land to productivity, we are guaranteeing a professional opportunity for our young people who want to work in the sector but have difficulty finding land, and we are investing in innovation.
