Services: Istat, turnover flat in June, up 4.6 per cent year-on-year

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - For the services sector, in terms of short-term trends, turnover in June is estimated to have remained unchanged in value terms and to have fallen by 0.4 per cent in volume terms, reflecting growth in wholesale trade (+0.5% by value and +0.9% by volume) and a fall in other services (-0.4% by value and -0.7% by volume). This was reported by Istat. On a year-on-year basis, the raw index stands at +4.6 per cent, whilst, net of calendar effects, the increase is 3.2 per cent in value and a decrease of 0.5 per cent in volume. In the wholesale trade sector, growth was recorded both in value terms (+4.2%) and in volume terms (+0.8%), whilst in other services there was an increase of 1.9% in value and a decrease of 0.5% in volume. There were 21 working days in June 2026, compared with 20 in June 2025.
