"2024 was definitely a positive year, both for the continued growth in italy and for the international development that sees us increasingly present. It is still a little early to close the 2024 numbers, but I would say that overall we had a growth of more than 10%, which brings the group to a global turnover of around 240 million euros". Giuseppe Ganassini, managing director of Istituto Ganassini Istituto Ganassini and fourth generation at the helm of the pharmaceutical company that operates with brands such as Rilastil, the group's most dermatological brand, which weighs about 40% of the group's global turnover, speaks with satisfaction.
2024 was an important year for the brand, characterised by significant growth and strategic investments, including partnerships with Ant and Marevivo, which also strengthen Rilastil's positioning in the field of social responsibility.
"The world of cosmetics is always in turmoil," continues Ganassini, "In recent years, many brands have sprung up which, also thanks to digitalisation, have found their space and fragmented the market. Ganassini, by history and tradition, however, relies exclusively on health professionals such as doctors and pharmacists and formulates each of its products starting from specific skin needs without necessarily following fashions, but focusing on the quality and efficacy of its preparations. All this is always validated by clinical tests according to our 'No test no claim' philosophy. It seems obvious, but to reach this level of quality takes time and a lot of investment. Few of our competitors are able to reach this level of excellence'.
Among the development projects, explains the CEO, 'in Italy we are increasingly consolidating relationships with doctors and pharmacies. Abroad, we are consolidating relationships with our partners, some of which are turning into joint ventures, the latest of which was in Morocco'.
