Ita Airways joins Star Alliance: benefits, lounges, Miles & More and new destinations
Single check-in and mutual recognition of loyalty programmes to join the world's largest airline alliance, which now consists of 26 airlines, from 1 April
As of 1 April Ita Airways is fully integrated into the Star Alliance global network, connecting its Rome Fiumicino hub and Milan Linate airport - served in total by 17 Star Alliance partner airlines - with over 1,150 destinations worldwide.

What are the main benefits for passengers? Thanks to the alliance network, Ita customers will enjoy one-stop check-in, reciprocal recognition of loyalty programmes and access to Star Alliance lounges, inside and outside Italia.
With the entry of Ita Airways, Star Alliance - the world's largest airline alliance - now consists of 26 airlines, with over 17,500 daily flights to more than 1,160 airports on a global network covering more than 190 countries.

Member airlines are Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, Ana, Asiana Airlines, Austrian, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Egyptair, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, ItaA Airways, Lo T Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Swiss, Tap Air Portugal, Thai, Turkish Airlines and United. Additional connections are provided by the Star Alliance connecting partner, Juneyao Airlines.
