The Concorso Italiano is back, but this year's event scheduled for 17 August in Seaside, California is a different story. New ownership has initiated an ambitious plan to bring together all the precious elements of Italian culture and lifestyle: from art to transport, including cuisine, design, fashion and technology. All within the framework of a passion for cars made in Italy;
Pininfarina Classiche the classic car programme
Among the novelties is the presence of perhaps the most famous of the national ateliers, Pininfarina, which will present to the public expected in California the certification programme dedicated to classic cars that have been built in the brand's workshops over the years. A service made possible by a cataloguing process of Pininfarina's historical archive of 700 thousand cars and more than 200 thousand documents of historical relevance;
Walter de Silva the ambassador of made in Italy
The Californian event will be attended by one of the best known car designers Walter de Silva, who just recently joined the Altagamma Community as an honorary member and ambassador of Italian excellence in the world. It will be up to him to identify the most beautiful cars in the Italian Concorso based on his creative past at the top of Alfa Romeo and the top management of the Volkswagen Group;
Valentino Balboni the former Lamborghini test driver
.Joining Walter de Silva will be Valentino Balboni, the best-known Lamborghini test driver. The Sant'Agata Bolognese brand has even dedicated a special version of the Gallardo to him. Present at every edition of the Concorso, it will be Balboni's turn to award the most avant-garde technical solutions among the Italian classic cars on display at the 2024 Concorso made in Italy;

The countdown is already on and the Californian venue is preparing to offer the most immersive of Experiences in both cuisine and haute couture and cars made in Italy;
