Italy-France Bilateral Summit: LUISS chosen to lead the “Young Italian-French Talents” programme
Rector Paolo Boccardelli: “Strengthening European cooperation requires a diplomatic effort on the part of all the Union’s founding countries, one that places the younger generations at the centre in order to carry out joint projects and consolidate the links between institutions, the academic world and business.”
“We are delighted to welcome the involvement of Luiss and our Centre for International and Strategic Studies (CISS) in the ‘Italian-French Young Talents’ programme, which has been strongly supported by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both countries,” said Paolo Boccardelli, Rector of the University. “Our University has been committed for years to strengthening bilateral relations between Italia and France, as demonstrated by the ‘Italian-French Dialogues for Europe’ initiative launched, together with Sciences Po, by Professor Paola Severino. Strengthening European cooperation requires, especially today, a diplomatic effort by all the founding countries of the Union, one that places the younger generations at the centre in order to carry out shared projects and consolidate the links between institutions, the academic world and businesses. I am confident that this further collaboration will make a significant contribution to addressing all the major challenges of our time.”
