Iveco Group: Q2 profit down 48.1% to 38 million, revenue up 7.3% to 3.76 billion

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Iveco Group closed the second quarter with a net profit of €38 million, down 48.1 per cent from the €79 million recorded in the same period of 2025. The company, which completed the sale of its Defence business to Leonardo in the first quarter and with Tata Motors’ takeover bid due to commence in early September, saw its revenue grow thanks to higher volumes in Europe. It reported consolidated revenue of 3.764 billion, up 7.3% on the 3.507 billion recorded in the same period of 2025, with revenue from industrial operations amounting to 3.696 billion (+7.9%). During the quarter, consolidated EBIT was a profit of 121 million euros (down from a profit of 169 million in the second quarter of 2025), of which industrial operations contributed a profit of 94 million (down from a profit of 141 million). Adjusted EBIT was positive at 131 million (down from a positive 171 million), with that of the industrial operations at 104 million (down from 143 million), mainly due to unfavourable production costs resulting from a greater focus on quality across all businesses and rework costs in the Bus division, partially offset by higher volumes. The adjusted EBIT margin for industrial operations was 2.8 per cent (down from 4.2 per cent).
