Iveco: Heywood says the integration of Tata Motors will be finalised by the third quarter of 2026
The completion of the integration with Tata Motors, following the takeover bid for the acquisition of the Iveco Group, “based on the information provided” by the Indian company, “is expected by the third quarter of 2026”. This was stated by the Chair of the Iveco Group, Suzanne Heywood, during the annual general meeting in Amsterdam. “Together,” she added, “we can create a leading international organisation, with a broader presence, a more robust product portfolio and greater investment capacity throughout the economic cycle.” In 2025, the chair explained, “we began the process that will take the company into the next chapter of its history”. Following the sale of the defence business to Leonardo, which took place as planned during the first quarter of this year, Idv Defence Vehicles and Iveco Astra “will be stronger as part of a larger, specialised operator with the right scale and focus”.
