Iveco: EU approves acquisition of sole control by Tata Motors

The European Commission has approved the acquisition of sole control of Iveco by the Indian group Tml Commercial Vehicles (Tata Motors). The transaction concerns the manufacture and supply of commercial vehicles and automotive components.

The Commission concluded that the notified transaction would not raise competition concerns given the limited combined market position of the companies resulting from the proposed transaction. The notified transaction was examined under the simplified merger review procedure.
