Jannik Sinner creates a non-profit foundation dedicated to empowering children through education and sport, both in Italy and worldwide.
The 'Jannik Sinner' Foundation will support sports programmes, school projects and community initiatives to make sport and education more accessible to the next generation.
"It is an honour for me to support children and young athletes," Sinner emphasised in a note from the foundation itself. "Sport has taught me invaluable lessons: discipline, resilience and the courage to stay true to myself. Lessons that I believe are worth sharing.
"We support programmes that introduce movement, play and structured sports into children's lives. Because play is never just play. It is how children build self-confidence, bonds and character. It is where they begin to understand the world and their role in shaping it' (period extrapolated from article Marco Calabresi, Corriere della sera)..
On the board of the foundation are: Alex Vittur, chairman of the foundation and managing director of Avima; Stefano Domenicali, board member, president and ceo of Formula 1; Luca Maestri, board member and former cfo of Apple. "Every child deserves equal opportunities, regardless of their background.
