Janus (Graded) Platform and App for Energy Community Management

Assisting small municipalities in the management of renewable and solidarity-based energy communities: this is the aim of the partnership signed by Anpci (National Association of Small Municipalities) and Energiesolidali.it with the energy-tech Janus, which belongs to the Graded Group of entrepreneur Vito Grassi. The ultimate goal: to support the development and management of renewable energy communities throughout Italy from Naples.

Janus is making its 'Hopee' digital platform available free of charge to small Italian municipalities. It is in fact a technological infrastructure officially launched last May, which enables an innovative solution for Cer, facilitating administrative and energy management, the monitoring of consumption and production flows, the calculation of economic benefits, and the active involvement of citizens. To this end, a dedicated mobile App is being studied and tested.

The model adopted is 'non-speculative', i.e. oriented towards territorial benefit and aimed at fostering a conscious diffusion of Energy Communities with a solidaristic and participatory imprint, in line with the Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals.

The collaboration with Janus will facilitate the management of CERs in the spirit that has always pervaded our initiatives, which is to simplify the lives of citizens in small municipalities".
