Jeep closes 2025 beyond one million cars sold and focuses (also) on electrics
The Stellantis brand consolidates its leadership and two new models are planned for the new year
The year 2025 closes with important results for Jeep, which confirms its international vocation and the strength of its brand. With more than one million vehicles sold worldwide, thirteen models in the range and ten production plants on four continents, the American brand of the Stellantis group continues to be synonymous with passion, freedom and adventure.
Behind the numbers are a network of design and engineering centres - including the one in Turin, where the Avenger and Compass are born - and a clear strategy: to propose increasingly sustainable mobility solutions, but without sacrificing the off-road capabilities and Jeep identity that have defined the brand for decades.
The Italian market confirms itself as one of Jeep's mainstays globally, third in importance after the United States and Brazil. With about 65,000 registrations expected by the end of the year, the brand has achieved a 4.2% share overall and 7.4% in the SUV segment. Added to this are record performances in countries such as Portugal (+42%), Austria (+35%) and the UK (+21%).
The absolute star is the Jeep Avenger, produced in Europe and developed with an eye to the needs of the Old Continent. Since its launch, it has sold over 230,000 units, making it the best-selling SUV in Italy and the market's leading electric B-SUV.
Its secret lies in its versatility: the Avenger offers a complete range from a 100 per cent electric version to a 48V hybrid, through to petrol engines and 4xe all-wheel drive, perfectly embodying the 'Freedom of Choice' philosophy that guides the brand's new era.
