They said 'yes' and exchanged wedding rings Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, since the evening of 27 June officially husband and wife, in a ceremony in the Cini Foundation on the Island of San Giorgio in Venice, which was sealed off and inaccessible to the press and photographers.
Little is known about the wedding ceremony so far, except that the celebrations were kicked off by Matteo Bocelli (Andrea's son) singing 'Can't Help Falling in Love'.
Outside the walls of the 'Cini', and in the lagoon, boats with photographers and cameramen waiting for a photo opportunity.
Rumours on the eve of the event spoke of a finale with fireworks, which so far have not been seen.
